And Manual Controlled RF Attenuators
JFW Industries is pleased to announce two new additions
to our series of mini-benchtop, programmable attenuator
assemblies.
The 50BA-011-95 offers 0-95 dB of attenuation in 1 dB steps
from 200 to 6000 MHz, while the 50BA-010-127 gives 0-127
dB and operates 700 to 3000 MHz. Other configurations are
also available.

X-band Solid-State High-Power Amplifier
CPI extends its product line of high-power solid-state power
amplifiers (SSPA) with a 1 kW peak power amplifier at X-band.
The 1kW modules utilize state-of-the-art gallium nitride HEMTs
for the most compact and efficient design. This SSPA is
designed to produce a reliable, air-cooled amplifier for mobile,
airborne, and ground installation radar requirements. It is
designed to be rack-mounted with combining structures to
provide output powers from 1kW to 16kW.

Sensors/Imaging
Sensors/Imaging
Brimrose Technology Corporation, an R&D; spinoff of global
photonics and high-tech company Brimrose Corp, has developed
the HERO (Heli Engagement Reconnaissance Observatory)
platform for in-flight surveillance to aid in tactical and emergency
applications. The HERO series, which includes a variety of power,
weight, and multi-blade options, provides real-time 360 degree
view capability that includes both CCD color video and infrared
night vision. It offers auto return to home base and point-to-point
GPS navigation.
HERO is focused
on customer payload integration and
on meeting customer requirements.
Brimrose's popular
acousto-optic tunable
filter (AOTF) hyperspectral
imaging
technology, which
can be used for a
variety of sensing
applications, can be successfully mounted and tested on HERO.
Other potential applications include active and passive target
monitoring, crop monitoring, search and rescue, crowd control/
monitoring, flood/fire disaster monitoring, and gas analysis.

Teledyne has a rich tradition of imaging throughout the
electromagnetic spectrum and is now working with Nova Sensors
as the store front for commercial large format visible and IR
camera products. Teledyne's goal is to be very cost competitive,
with unmatched image processing, and have customer service
beyond reproach.
Most recently, Teledyne has focused its efforts on finished
camera products for gimbal, scientific, handheld applications,
and liquid nitrogen (pour fill) camera products for microscopy
applications.
Our camera products are optimized for size, weight, and power,
as well as price. Our "on-camera" processing features empower
the end user by providing crisp resolution, clean imagery,
and comprehensive information that facilitates better decisions.
Included in the image processing is our Non-Uniformity Correction
(NUC), Bad Pixel Replacement (NPR), and Adaptive Dynamic
Range Compression (ADRC) which enhances the image edges,
image stabilization, super resolution, target tracking, and image
fusion. Ask about a field demonstration at your location.
