UV To LWIR Durable, Precision Optical Coatings
Deposition Sciences provides highly durable and heat-resistant
optical and electromagnetic coatings in the UV, Visible, NIR,
SWIR, MWIR, and LWIR wavelengths.
Our LWIR Filters operate at any temperature between ambient
and 10°K. These coatings are durable and robust optical filters,
made using physical vapor deposition. The band edge placement
can be held with great precision. Applications include sensor
filters, thermal vision, FLIR optics, multispectral filters, and order
sorting filters.
DSI's Very Long Wavelength Infrared (VLWIR) Filters provide
high transmittance over the 12µm to beyond 22µm wavelength
region. These coatings readily pass all standard environmental
tests and can be repeatedly cycled between ambient and
cryogenic temperatures without degradation. VLWIR coatings
include narrow and wide bandpass filters (NBP & WBP), long-
and shortwave pass filters (LWP & SWP), as well as antireflection
coatings (AR). They are ideal for remote sensing, chemical
analysis, astrophysics/astronomy, and horizon sensors.

Extreme High-Power SPDT RF Switch
The CMSW-SPDTR-1G-5KB single-pole double-throw hermetic
switch covers the 1 to 1.1 GHz frequency range at 100 Watts
average input power. Its peak power handling is 5 kW for a 17
µs/2% duty cycle pulse, and it features a 200 nS typ. (50% TTL to
10%/90% RF) switching speed with a 4 MHz switching rate. This
switch has been designed for use in military applications involving
radar communications equipment.
